My current body of work is the result of a desire to expand my skills in the application of enamel to three-dimensional objects, specifically the raised forms I have been developing, especially the organic and floral forms inspired by my garden. The better I got at making these forms, the more I felt they needed the color of enamels. Thus my work evolved from more or less flattened forms, or slightly raised two-dimensional forms with an emphasis on color relationships and color theory to more representational, narrative work that more completely exploits my media. I plan to continue this work with an emphasis on exploring the various textures that can be achieved with glass enamel.

I purchased a pair of your orchid earrings last summer when I was touring Ashville. Every time I wear them I receive compliments on them. I am a docent at a museum in Vero Beach, FL and everyone covets my wearable art earrings.

I have shared your contact info with the museum registrar who loves the pair I own. I hope she makes contact.
Looking forward to future trips to Ashville and will visit to purchase more of your wonderful and creative works.

    Hi Monty,
Your work is beautiful! I am contacting you to see if would fix my wedding ring. It is a silver band with an emerald cut herkimer. It broke where they size it on the band and I think I need it to be 1/4 size larger. I work in West Asheville as a designer and seamstress. I could bring the ring by at your convenience if you are interested. Thank you !
