My blind father made me aware of how to see. As a child growing up I would have to describe to him the world that I saw which still influences how I work. That effect has endured in my art as I continue to paint what others can’t see, which is now my own personal vision, a world of possibilities. For my work hovers at the intersection of being representational while crossing the line with abstraction. The vibrant use of dissimilar color choices is much the same as my view of life; everything is not all neat and matching.
These paintings explode with unexpected colors that meld into my view of finding the extraordinary in what we see in our everyday lives!
