Noelle’s work stems from an interest in organic form and growth. Through the act of creating, she explores an inherent connection with the world surrounding us. This connection remains motivating because it exists as a reminder that we are all made of the same beautiful, complex systems. It is ironic that no matter how much we exist with, and are surrounded by nature, we can never represent it accurately. It is because of this irony that Noelle does not attempt to reproduce natural forms, but brings attention to them. Noelle is a painter and installation artist born and raised in Colorado. A recent transplant to Asheville, she has been immensely inspired by the life found in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
