A-B Tech at Phil Mechanic Studios

Phil_mechanicVisit the Phil Mechanic Studios to see the 2007 Student Art Exhibition from A-B Tech Community College. The artwork was juried by John Cram and is on view through May 31. There will be an opening reception from 5-8PM on Friday, April 27. For more information, call 828-254-3628.

At the Wedge Gallery

EmilymitchellEmily Mitchell, a senior at UNC-Asheville, opened an exhibition called "Liminal" at the Wedge Gallery on Friday evening.

Fleta Monaghan

GhostownFleta Monaghan of River's Edge Studios in Riverview Station is featured in a new exhibition at Gallery 86 in Waynesville, NC.

Women in Vision
Featuring the work of four Western North Carolina Women artists.

The show runs from April 4th – 28th. The opening reception will be Saturday, April 7th from 6-9 p.m.

The artists are: Fleta Monaghan, Lauren Patton, Lynn Hughes, Angela Chrusciaki Blehm with a special poetry reading at the opening by current nominee for poet laureate to the State of North Carolina, Glenis Redmond.
