Grace Carol Bomer is an abstract expressionist painter. Her concern is the human condition surprised by the grace of God. In the 80s, she came to know that art and beauty are related to faith. Her work became a search for this truth, goodness, and beauty before the face of God who is true and good and beautiful. "For glory and for beauty," became her biblical mandate for art that would glorify the Creator and delve the mysteries of who God is as Redeemer and Savior.

She is involved locally, nationally, and internationally, travelling to China in 2006 to teach and speak at Luxan Fine Art Academy in Shenyang, and working with and exhibiting in Kiev, Ukraine, in 2001. In August,2011, her work was included in ARTE-FE, Madrid, which is touring three cities in Spain in 2012-13.

Residing in the beautiful mountains of Asheville North Carolina, Jeff Pittman is never short on inspiration for his colorful oil paintings. He is primarily known for his dramatic skies, panoramic mountain vistas, and small town street scenes of Western NC. Born in Greenville, NC, Jeff grew up observing his father paint rural scenes of eastern and coastal North Carolina. He has taken the artistic impressions he learned early on and applied them to his colorful landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes. "I strive to capture the scene in bold, expressive colors that represent the different views of North Carolina as I see it and particularly enjoy the play of light against the downtown buildings, and the ever changing color in the skies and mountain ridges that surround us here. My goals is not to present my art as realistic, but rather to cast a unique light on my subject as I commit it to canvas to share with others.”

Painting, for me, has always been a spiritual journey. Each piece seeks to capture the essence of truth through elements of nature. My work is inspired by light and reflection found in nature. The focus of each piece is exploring the relationship between light and form. The space between that interconnects all that is found in nature. Each painting’s purpose is focused on the space between, where the spirit speaks, where the quietness is found, and a sense of peace is encouraged.
