To me, there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that those who see my art feel that my hands and thoughts are in it. As I stated in my Master's these from East Carolina University, pottery is "controlled spontaeity." Part art and part science, I formulate my own glazes and love the feel of my hands in the clay, starting with an idea and watching it grow. That's as close as I can come to describing where my work comes from. Curious to see where my inspiration takes me next, like the clay I work with - I'm constantly evolving. It's a process!
