Kaysha Siemens grew up in Canada, and moved to WNC in 2002. It didn't take long for her to fall in love with the beauty of the Asheville area, and that love of the natural world is easy to see in her work, even when she paints subjects and places on the other side of the globe.
Kaysha's work depicts the flora, fauna, and other inhabitants of the natural and imaginary world, and her primary focus is an ongoing project called 'Mnemosyne,' exploring the figures and creatures of Greek Mythology. She offers originals, as well as prints, pins, stickers, totes and pouches, and other useful and wearable items featuring her artwork at her space in Art Garden AVL gallery.
