Abstract Painting using Oil and Cold Wax

Explore the genre of Oil and Cold Wax to create intriguing abstract works of art using a variety of layering, texture building and mark making techniques. This workshop includes instructor demonstrations on the use of materials, tools, and techniques; plenty of time to explore the many possibilities presented; class discussions; and instructor feedback and encouragement. The workshop is designed for all levels of artists with a basic understanding of composition and color, and who are excited about exploring a new medium or enhancing a current skill.
