This 8-week class is geared to the person who wants to develop a firm foundation in hot glass. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or have some experience, this class will deepen your understanding of glass as an artist’s material. Students will lead an exploration from solid sculpture to vessel-making. Emphasis is on furnace glass, however, all aspects of sound studio practice will be covered including coldworking.
