Experimental Printmaking with Gelli Plates

Explore the possibilities of low tech printmaking with Gelli plates! Using this silicon marvel we will explore a vast variety of techniques for applying paint and ink including rolling, stamping, resist, image transfer and stencils. We will print on an assortment of papers using safer soy based ink and acrylic paints. No press is needed. You will come away with a pile of amazing pages that can be used for collage, as starts for further prints and finished works in their own right. All materials will be provided.
