Saturday, May 14th, is Second Saturday in Asheville’s River Arts District. I’ll be the working artist at Trackside Studios I’ll sewing on a new piece. Yep! With my sewing machine. Can you believe those poppies are made from wool fibers sewn together?
I’ll have several types of the natural, loose fibers I use to create my pieces. Stop by and learn how I transform that loose fiber into pieces that look like stained glass. I think it’s wonderful to show people there are hands actually making beautiful objects.
