ZenobiaStudio presents Flow of Africa, an exhibition of paintings by Casimir Balibie Bationo (CasziB). Mr. Bationo is a contemporary artist from Burkina Faso, Africa. He now lives and works in Meknes, Morocco.
Casimir travels constantly between Africa and Europe, which can be seen in his paintings. It is a colorful and rhythmic atmosphere of faces full of shadow and contrasts. You can see Africa in action as well as some Western culture. It is an expression of the crossing of these cultures.
Flow of Africa will be exhibited at the Pink Dog Gallery, 348 Depot St., February 21 through March 29, 2020. Come meet CasziB on Friday, February 21 at 5:30-8 pm at the Opening Reception.
“Chit Chat Fashion Show: Talking About Flow of Africa” includes fashion, jewelry and food from Africa at ZenobiaStudio. The fashion show will take place Saturday, February 22 from 6-9pm. Pink Dog Creative, 346 Depot Street, Suite 101.
