Introduction to Oil Painting with Hyn Patty

A beginner class aimed for those who are either new to painting or want to try oil painting in a traditional style. In this class I will provide a reference photo and take you step by step how to mix colors using a limited palette, using an under painting, wiping out negative space for light, blocking in darks and other colors in layers, and using Liquin for faster drying time. Basics will also cover safe handling of materials. Hyn Patty will stay an extra hour after class for anyone who wants extra time to work on their paintings and questions.
