River Arts District Business Association & the City of Asheville have invited the LEAF Easel Rider mobile art lab to be open for Second Saturday visitors this summer! From 11am to 5pm, LEAF artists will provide interactive, hands-on activities for the whole family.
Free and open to all. Local families are encouraged to come and take part in the fun!
Edwin Salas: Edwin Salas Acosta is a Mexican Puppeteer, dancer and plastic artist who loves to create new creatures with paper and other materials with the children.
In the last 18 years, he has been able to present myself in Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Mexico, Cuba, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Belize, Guatemala, United States and Taiwan. Edwin studied art in Italy and is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English.
Robyn Joseph: Robyn is a multi-media artist and creative educator for children of all ages, and weaver of fibers, songs and souls. Using re-purposed, recycled, and rejected media, Robyn enjoys facilitating and nurturing the creative in all of us from the inside out. Current interests are color chemistry, paper and book arts, calligraphy and making a magical mess! There is a special place where art, healing, joy, fun and community meet. Please join her there on your creative journey!
