Shadow Play – Artist Reception

Michael Allen Campbell explores the interplay of shadows and white on textural paintings. Each piece relies on the imagination of the viewer to create their own story. Minimal and subtle, with color coolly absent, Campbell’s work uses texture and the inclusion of objects to create three dimensions. This technique allows changes in intensity and angle of light in a space to be active elements of each work in the series.
Artist Reception on Second Saturday February 11, from 2–6 pm, with sips and snacks.
The exhibition runs from February 1st through 28th.
