Zine-Making & New Year Affirmations with Artist, Katie Gebely

Join us for this Saturday morning of community and creativity to learn the art of zine-making with RAD artist Katie Gebely! Ahead of the class, Katie will invite you to consider the affirmations and intentions you’d like to bring with you into the new year. What images, words and colors might represent what you wish to manifest in this new year?

Learn how to create these wonderful small booklets from folded paper design techniques, adding collage elements to each page. Katie will guide you to explore various mixed- media materials and techniques with acrylic paint pens, a variety of papers, acrylic paints, artist markers and more! You’ll be encouraged to to dive into the creative process, opening up expressive possibilities as you bring to life your affirmations and intentions through your own unique zine booklet.
