Functional and sculptural ceramics
Brad Worden earned his Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the Ohio State University and has studied pottery for over 20 years in Ohio and North Carolina. As an ecologist early in his career and a lover of myth, he is drawn to the natural world and the interrelationships, both real and mythical, which are found there. Brad attempts to overtly or subtly bring a part of nature and the natural world into the lives of the holder of his work.
His work often combines wheel-thrown pottery with hand-built applications.
