Genevieve Beatty is a fine artist from Asheville, North Carolina. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) where she studied Oil Painting and Art Theory. Genevieve explores themes of feminism through mythical tales, creating surrealist imagery that blends familiar stories from mythologies and history. Her work combines traditional and contemporary painting techniques to create distinctly modern, yet hauntingly resonant, narrative driven figurative paintings.
