My name is Aaron Fields and I’ve been creating art since I was six years old. I was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. I genuinely enjoy capturing the remarkable landscapes around the area whether it be out in the field with plein air painting or using photos I’ve taken as references. I work with multiple mediums, including acrylics, paint markers, and spray paint. The more layers the better! My primary focus has evolved into painting roads. Just like in life, no two are exactly the same and particularly in my mountain home, the twists and turns through the varying landscapes make each one entirely unique.

In the real world, there are so many different roads I can take in my daily walk of life. There’s always a new path to explore. Even after living in Asheville for all these years, there are still roads here I have yet to discover. There likely always will be. With that idea, the journey will never be over and the work will always be there. The path to creation is just as infinite as the pavement I travel looking for the perfect spot to capture next. It’s always so exciting to find that perfect bend in the road overlooking a mountain sky that is always putting on a show, and I’m excited to be able to share that with all of you.
