Life on earth is complex, but beauty is simple, and I enjoy trying to represent this concept in my work. I am a proud North Carolinian, planted in the coastal plain, cultivated in the piedmont and rooted in the mountains, and I have been living in Asheville for over 20 years. I love to travel, but I also feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful and majestic area of the earth, and my paintings reflect my appreciation for the natural and cultural environments, both near and far. I have been working with various art mediums my entire life, but I have most recently been focused on oil painting, gouache and digital art.
