A lifelong painter, Monaghan works in oils, acrylics, inks, encaustics and mixed media. In 2006 she founded 310 ART, now the oldest independent fine art school for adults in the region. The gallery, founded in 2009 wraps around the classroom and features the work of 16 local artists.
