Rob Czar began his artistic journey in 2019 after a rare autoimmune disorder left him clinically dead for 27 minutes. His recovery unfolded alongside the global pandemic, and over the next several years he found himself creating hundreds of paintings in his basement. His work explores the themes of life, life after death, love, and the macabre, offering a glimpse into a surreal and often unsettling world where mortality, nightmares, and imagination intersect.
