Established in 2012 and sustained by a passion for fiber, Local Cloth is a volunteer-led non-profit network of fiber artists, farmers, small-scale fiber processors, educators and fiber enthusiasts, dedicated to growing and supporting the local fiber economy in Western North Carolina and increasing awareness of and access to regional production and artisan practices.

We offer workshops and interest groups, curate private events, host studios for resident artists, hold community events, and foster opportunities to sell creative work in our Retail shop and at our seasonal Artisan Markets.
