A Feel For The Furnace: 3 Hour Workshop

Ready to start learning the basics of working with hot glass? This 3-hour workshop provides an introduction to the fundamentals of glassblowing. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the various tools and techniques used in the hot shop, from applying color, to shaping forms. By the end of the workshop, each student can produce 1-3 pieces of their own glass art. There are 2 classes per day, 10am – 1pm & 2pm – 5pm with up to 3 students per class.
Ages 13+. Under 16 must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. No experience required.
