Creating Meaning in Acrylic and Mixed Media

This beginner-friendly class is all about creative exploration, play and discovery! Each participant will choose a theme or story that can be translated into visual form. Is it a memory you want to remember, traveling, an imagined exotic landscape? No need to illustrate, keep your story abstract! Have fun as you learn a variety of mixed media techniques.

Prior to class, students will need to choose the story or theme they wish to focus on in class.
Bring photos and tokens related to this theme, such as images from magazines, old book pages, and fabric remnants, old gift wrappers that could enhance the painting.
