Fall Reflections in Oil with Patricia Sweet

Fall colors reflecting in the lake are stunning so let’s paint them!
In this class we will learn how to mix fall colors, simplify the composition, create depth within the tree mass, and softly paint reflections.
Pre-primed canvas and easel provided.
Please bring:
Oil Paints, Grey Flat Palette (such as a piece of 11×14 glass and a grey towel), Palette Knife, Brushes(flat 1” & ½”), Q-Tips, Glass Scraper, Paper Towels, Mineral Spirits & Sealable Container
TIP* Oil( vegetable, coconut, etc.) for washing paint off skin, glove

Basic necessity paint colors for this class:
Titanium white
Lemon or light cadmium yellow
Cadmium Red Light or Orange
Ultramarine Blue
Alizaron Chrimson

Additional colors for a more diverse palette. Bring if you have them:
Ochre
Cadmium yellow
Cobalt Blue
Raw Umber and/or Van Dyke Brown
Viridian
Phthalo Blue and/or cerulean
