In the Dark of the Night, a Glow is a collection of works by watercolorist Amy Massey, celebrating the small sparks of connection we reach for when times feel dark. Amy’s ethereal watercolor and gouache paintings are an anchor for intimate reflection, grounding and growth. This body of work examines a means of churning through the flurry of life’s complexities and holding them, slowed and clarified, to the light.
Amy Massey is a visual artist, mother and massage therapist living in Asheville, NC. She was raised in Pittsburgh, PA and received a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design. Amy’s working studio and gallery is located at Wedge Studios at 129 Roberts Street, Studio 1A2.
