Mandala Madness
- This event has passed.
March 12, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free‘Mandala’ is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘circle.’ The roots of these sacred circles go back thousands of years to ancient Buddhist and Hindu meditation ceremonies. Early artists saw the mandala as a representation of the universe–intricate and multi-faceted, yet united as one force at a central point. Over time these emblems have appeared across cultures as ever-evolving symbols of unfolding consciousness. The mandala is ultimately an inter-religious, as well as secular, tool used for meditation and introspection.
This showcase of mandalas by artists from across the country will be on display through May 1.
Join us on March 12 for an opening reception from 5-8 pm!
