Come fall in love with the magic of color and abstract painting with acrylic paints and the vibrant pop of extra colors you will get with a smooth resin finish.
You’ll be invited to explore with geometric and imperfect shapes to create compositions on square backgrounds, using a playful approach as you work. We will first build up some backgrounds using 3 cradled square wood panels, and begin exploring with shape compositions using stencils and other tools to place and then paint the shapes on the backgrounds.
Mixed media such as contact paper, artist crayons, Posca pens, Copic Sketch pens, black ink pens and Kuretake Gold pens will be used to add detail and whimsy to your shape creations.
No experience needed! Come Play!
All materials including resin are included with this class.
