Drawing in Reverse – White on Black with James Cassara

While ink drawing has traditionally been done with black ink on white (or light) paper this class will turn that around! We’ll be exploring the possibilities of drawing in white ink on black or darkly toned paper, the results of which will amaze you. Learn about values, negative space, and how to show dimension and depth with just one color. Work from photographs provided by the instructor, or bring your own!
