Fiber Art Demonstration

My pieces are created using loose, natural fibers (wool, silk and mohair). I take these fibers and trap them together using my sewing machine. They are then cast into bowls, table sculptures, and this year, lamps.

I use epoxy and metallic paint in finishing my pieces, and they are embellished with glass beads and botanicals. It has bee said that the finished pieces look like stained glass!

Stop in at Foundation Studios, and see what I can do with those loose fibers and a sewing machine. This will be my first demonstration at Foundation Studios, which I find very exciting.
