Meet Stephanie Peterson Jones, our Featured Artist for the month of March. Learn how Stephanie’s art career has evolved through teaching, illustrating, and creating her own product lines. “You can find her work decorating the pages of children’s books, adult coloring books, textiles, stationery and gift products. She is known for her bright and cheerful illustrations, graphic surface patterns, intricate ink drawings, floor mandalas, and sgraffito on clay. Stephanie has illustrated many children’s books, among them the award winning book Peek-a-Moo, in print since 1999, and has licensed her artwork to textile, stationery and gift companies worldwide. Most recently, her “Where’s my Nose?”, was chosen by Dolly Parton to be part of her Imagination Library.”
Stephanie works in a wide range of mediums and themes, but her acrylic mandala paintings take prominence in this particular collection to go alongside our Mandala Madness group show which officially opens a week later on March 9th!
