Pysanky Demos

Andrea will demonstrate the ancient Ukrainian art of pysanky eggs. Pysanky began thousands of years ago, as pagan eggs meant to call back the Springtime after a long winter, and they later evolved into Easter eggs. Andrea will demonstrate the wax-resist process and talk about the ancient symbols as well.

In Celebration of National Women’s History Month:
“Women at Trackside” Artists Reception

This group show speaks to the perspectives, experiences, and strengths of women — women artists, women portrayed in art, women constructing and living their lives in ways both general and specific. Contributing artists’ works are narratives about themselves, their art, and their view of the world around them. Works in widely different styles and media will resonate with each other, each telling its own story and enriching that of its neighbors.
Exhibition runs from March 1st through 31st.

Divine Feminine: Limited Edition Prints Release & Artist Talk
