Mixed Media Collage: Honor the Ones Who Deceased”

Level: Adults & Teens – no artistic skill or training needed

What to expect:
In this class you will create a very personal collage that honors a person you knew and loved who has passed away. After a few little creative exercises you will be able to make a beautiful piece of art to hang on your wall.

What to bring to class:
Bring at least 25 pieces to choose from which could be: Copies of personal photos, images from magazines or even complete magazines to share, copies out of books or print offs from the Internet, a favorite quote or poem of you or the person you are honoring, pieces of wallpaper, handmade papers, a copy of a letter/envelope or note or any personal items that can be glued on paper. You can also bring original photos, but be aware that they might be cut apart, glued and painted over, so copies are always a good choice.

I will provide a base to create on, additional papers, scissors, glues, paints, markers, coloring pens and paint brushes.
