In this 2.5 hour Willow Lantern Workshop hosted by Jennifer Murphy you’ll learn how to make your own willow lantern! In the dark of winter, you’ll make a cozy, glowing lamp of paper and willow branches. Decorate it with paper cutouts and tissue colors.
Learn about the wonderful traditions of lantern parades around the world! Jennifer is a founder of Street Creature Puppet Collective, and has been making lanterns large and small for local parades and festivals for eight years. She is an Art Garden artist, showing mosaics, ceramics and crankies. www.CuriousGarden.art
Tickets for the workshop are $60 per person. This workshop is suitable for ages 12+.
