I am a retired art teacher with 31 years of experience teaching all ages in different media. I have narrowed down my art loves to two media–papermaking and marbling.

Papermaking gives me a chance to be loud and boisterous while marbling is quiet and scientifically challenging.

While making paper, I am physically engaged, layering multiple materials on finished products. My love of machinery is applied when I mechanically press the paper. In marbling, I manipulate floating paint with wide spaced combs on a thickened water surface. I enjoy the moment when I place the dry fabric on the wet design. I know that a person will love this garment as much as I did when creating it!

Feel free to contact me for information about my products or classes.
