Gelli Jam: The Art of Gel Printing for Collage & More with Michelle Hamilton

Join Michelle for this fun and colorful evening diving into the limitless medium of gelli plates to create a unique bundle of collage papers! Using magazine images, stencils, stamps, and acrylic paints, you’ll create your own prints on rice paper and various mixed media papers. The sky is the limit for what you can create with gelli printing and papers–and no experience is needed!

Choose the ones you love the most to use in future art/collage projects or mount them to small cradled wood panels using the methods below.

Finishing Options:

1. Mount your favorites onto small wood panels ($10 per panel).
   Michelle will teach you how to smoothly adhere your finished prints.
2. Add a resin finish to your mounted gel prints (Two small wood panels–$45)

Pay during the class for finishing options. Pieces mounted/glued down to 5 x 7 panels will be available for pickup the following week.

This is Michelle’s second Gelli Printing class at ArtPlay — different than Part 1, but Part 1 is NOT a prerequisite.
