International Women’s Day Drop In

Local Cloth is hosting a free a drop-in event to celebrate International Women’s Day! Come when you can and stay as long as you want. Bring some handwork (we’ll have some supplies if that’s holding you back). Let’s share stories (for the introverts among us, we are welcome to work silently and do our thing). Fiber and textile arts are often passed to us from family members and friends—we all have stories about how we learned to knit or why we weave or spin, and those stories usually are about other women in our lives and the impact they have had on our fiber arts journey. There just might be snacks. Everyone is welcome. Kid friendly! From noon to 5pm, there will be opportunities to do some make & takes and watch some demonstrations. We’ll finish the day by folding into our Night Knitting Group. This event is FREE to both members and non-members! Registration is recommended.
