It’s finally here! Lots of you have been asking us if Katie can teach this class & we’re happy to finally say YES! In this brand new class offered by local artist Katie Gebely, you will be invited into a playful process of discovering the joy of abstract collage.
If you have seen Katie’s art, you know how joyful, colorful and playful her abstract mixed-media collage pieces are! In the class, Katie will share some her process, tips, tools & techniques with you as you dive into play with layers and possibilities for collage-making on wood panel.
Your art-making space will be full of yummy tools for you to experiment with as you create! …Artist markers, lettering for words, acrylic paints, stamps & inks -all for making your own unique marks as you go! Whether you go bold and bright or opt for more muted tones, your pieces will be a one-of-a-kind reflection of your own creative voice.
Katie will invite you to create some warm-up pieces as you discover what speaks to you, and you’ll eventually move on to working on a 12 x12 wood panel.
No experience needed! All materials included.
