Portrait artist Lorelle Bacon has developed her own technique to get a likeness every time, and will share this technique with you!
For day one, you will complete a portrait using Lorelle’s references while learning her technique. You will then learn how to bring it to life by shading using a value chart. If you have taken her portrait drawing before, you may work from your own references.
Day two: You will work from an 8×10 Black and white photo that you will bring. You will need two copies of the same photo. One printed on photo paper and one on copy paper.

Bring a lunch for the first day, as well as paper and pen for note taking.
