Who am I, Who Are We? “Introductions Please” Exhibit Opening

Brit J. Oie figurative work in mixed media will be the focus of this months Second Saturday at Riverside Studios.
Introductions are often necessary in order to avoid peoples misconceptions and hasty first impressions.
Brit’s painting “She’s My Sister” is depicting a situation in which it feels necessary to address both cultural and racial misconceptions.
We invite you to stop by and visit with Brit and our six artists working in Oil, Acrylics, Watercolor and Mixed Media and Paper Mache. Our beautiful old building, located on the corner of West Haywood Street and Riverside Drive, dates back to the 1890’s and has its origin in the early industrial days of the River Arts District.
