On the Second Saturday of each month, Asheville’s River Arts District holds gallery walks with demonstrations, workshops, live music, wine tastings, delicious food, and more. Visitors meander the mile-long district and discover all that the “RAD” has to offer. There are more than 200 artists in the 22 buildings throughout the district. Many of them open during this monthly event to describe or show their techniques and share their inspirations.
We invite everyone to peruse our website to have a virtual visit, which is a great jumping off point to explore Asheville’s art community, whether for educational purposes, entertainment, or if you’re looking for a great piece of art for your home or business.
Many studios and galleries are open and welcoming visitors throughout the month, following county and state guidelines. We have a new page on our website for a quick glance at some of the artist’s open hours. Check here.

Please Join us for our first of many Valentine’s Day Pop-Ups!
As part of RAD Second Saturday, on February 13, 2021 from 10am to 5pm, we are excited to showcase the work of all 11 artists here at CURVE! You will find a variety of gift ideas for your sweetheart that include jewelry, felt keepsakes, ceramic vessels to fill with flowers or plants (flowers and plants will also be available), scarves, hats, sculpture, paintings, quilts, masks – the list goes on!
In addition we will be hosting Marjory Rockwell, a Pennsylvania State University and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute graduate, and her delicious brain child that is Conjure Craft Chocolate! If you have never tried her bean to bar chocolate, you are in for a treat!! She is also a pastry chef so there will be more edibles than just chocolate!
Of course all of this depends on if we are able to be open at all due to the Coronavirus – but we are staying optimistic! We hope you will join us for a special day in the middle of winter to celebrate love & happiness!
